QSTP Participates in Web Summit Qatar 2026 as Diamond Partner

Qatar Science & Technology Park, a member of Qatar Foundation, will spotlight Qatar’s growing deep-tech ecosystem at Web Summit Qatar 2026 through startup showcases, thought leadership, and investor-focused activations.

Qatar Science & Technology Park (QSTP) is participating in Web Summit Qatar 2026, taking place from 1– 4 February at the Doha Exhibition & Convention Center (DECC), as a Diamond Partner. QSTP’s participation supports its mandate to position Qatar Foundation (QF) and Qatar as a global hub for deep tech, AI, and impact-driven innovation, while accelerating startup growth, investor engagement, and international partnerships. The Summit serves as a high-concentration platform for global visibility, deal flow, and ecosystem leadership.

QSTP’s engagement at Web Summit Qatar 2026 aligns with its strategic objective to reinforce QF and Qatar’s role as a leading innovation and deep-tech hub in the Middle East, while enabling QSTP-supported startups to access global investors, partners, and markets. Through its presence, QSTP aims to facilitate high-value connections between founders, investors, and corporates, while contributing to global conversations on AI, innovation ecosystems, and the Middle East’s growing role in exporting intellectual property.

As part of its on-ground activations, QSTP will highlight its programs at its pavilion, host targeted workshops, and showcase 30 incubated startups. In parallel, 24 QSTP-supported ventures will be featured across the Summit’s Startup Island, with eight startups showcased each day. These activations are designed to drive lead generation, enable direct investor engagement, and support growth across QSTP’s priority sectors such as AI, deep tech, and impact-driven technologies.

QSTP will also play a prominent role in shaping the Summit’s thought-leadership agenda. Rama Chakaki, President of QSTP, will participate in the panel ‘Why You Can’t Ignore the Middle East in 2026’, highlighting the region’s emergence as a global engine for AI infrastructure, deep tech, and intellectual property development. QSTP will also be represented in a judging capacity during the Summit’s pitch competition, reinforcing its commitment to founder support and gender balance in decision-making.

In addition, Hayfa Al-Abdulla, Innovation & Entrepreneurship Director at QSTP, will deliver a masterclass titled ‘AI Without the Hype: Building AI Products That Deliver Real Value’, focusing on practical AI adoption, value creation, ethics, and scalability.

Beyond the main Summit program, QSTP will host a curated side event titled ‘The Future Is Female: Investment, Leadership & Impact’, taking place on 3 February at the QSTP South Podium. The event will bring together founders, investors, and ecosystem leaders to spotlight women-led leadership and capital, enable meaningful founder–investor connections, and position QSTP as a global leader in inclusive, impact-driven innovation. The event is open and inclusive to all founders and investors, while offering a distinctive Qatari cultural and ecosystem experience.

“At QSTP, we convene founders, investors, and operators to build disruptive, impactful technologies and scale them from research to real-world application,” said Chahaki. “Our participation reflects our commitment to strengthening Qatar’s role as a global destination for deep-tech innovation with impact.”

Through its participation in Web Summit Qatar 2026, QSTP aims to enhance global visibility for Qatar’s innovation ecosystem, deepen investor engagement and partnership opportunities, strengthen the international pipeline for QSTP startups and programs, and reinforce its leadership positioning in AI, deep tech, and inclusive innovation.
