A major reflection of QScience’s commitment to support research and sustainability took concrete form today when QScience.com, the digital publishing portal for research journals, announced the launch of its definitive COP18 collection.

This collection is indispensable to any organisation or researcher wanting to keep up to date with the latest information in this field. QScience’s online collection consists of more than 140 articles drawn from their diverse content partnerships. The collection covers a range of topics in the areas of ethics, corporate responsibility, food security, engineering, science, energy security, carbon capture and storage, sustainability, LNG, renewable energy, business and management.

QScience has also published a special issue on carbon capture and storage, which covers numerous areas such as industrial requirements, pre and post-combustion, industrial procedures and problems, alternatives to amine-based capture and new technologies, transport, economics and social issues.

Arend Kuster, Managing Director said, “We are proud to support the COP process with this collection as our commitment to providing additional information, and by making this content available Open Access contributes to the transparency of research.  The collection contains key research articles tackling adaptation and mitigation, and the use of technology.  We are also excited to be part of the Qatar Sustainability Network and will be actively participating in COP18.”

The collection is searchable by subject, publication title, topic, author or keywords on QScience.com and is the most comprehensive online collection for COP 18.

This multi-faceted collection will be of interest to scientists, decision makers, business and community leaders, as well as lobbyists.

QScience.com already hosts twelve scholarly journals covering diverse subject areas such as information and library studies, sustainable energy, education, medicine and bioscience, Middle Eastern healthcare, law, design and Islamic studies.  Many other journals are scheduled to be added in 2013.
