Qatar Foundation welcomes the Presidential Assistant of the Republic of Sudan

Qatar Foundation for Education, Science and Community Development hosted His Excellency Abdul Rahman Al-Sadiq Al-Mahdi, the Assistant to the President of the Republic of Sudan, yesterday. 

A welcoming committee led by Engineer Jassim Telefat, Group Executive Director of Qatar Foundation Capital Projects and Facilities Management, met with His Excellency Mr Al-Mahdi and his delegation at the Qatar Foundation Visitors Center. 

His Excellency Mr Al-Mahdi was shown a presentation which outlined the vision and mission of Qatar Foundation. He was also introduced to Qatar Foundation’s many educational initiatives, community development plans, and scientific research programmes. 

He said, “Qatar Foundation is an exemplary organisation that has demonstrated its commitment to the advancement of education, science and research, as well as environmentally-friendly technologies. We believe that Qatar’s wise and visionary leadership has set the foundation for a noble mission that aims to promote world peace. We thank Qatar Foundation for the great efforts it is making across various fields, which has brought about well-deserved recognition from across the world.” 

As the visit drew to a close, His Excellency Mr Al-Mahdi signed the visitor’s book and received a commemorative gift from Qatar Foundation. His Excellency was on a visit to Qatar, during which he held meetings with senior officials to discuss bilateral relations and means to develop them in various fields.
