Qatar Foundation has announced the appointment of Abeer Al-Khalifa as President of its Pre-University Education division (PUE).

Qatar Foundation has announced the appointment of Abeer Al-Khalifa as President of its Pre-University Education division (PUE).

Ms. Al-Khalifa joined Qatar Foundation (QF) in 2011 and has since held positions within its Pre-University Education division that include Executive Director of Academic Affairs and, most recently, Executive Director of the QF Schools Office. She holds an Executive Master’s degree in Business Administration from HEC Paris in Qatar.

She succeeds Her Excellency Buthaina bint Ali Al Jabr Al Nuaimi, who has been appointed as Minister of Education and Higher Education as President of Pre-University Education at QF. In her new position, Ms. Al-Khalifa will oversee Qatar Academy schools that follow IB curricula, and a range of specialized schools and programs including the Academic Bridge Program (ABP), in addition to The Learning Center (TLC) and the Education Development Institute (EDI) which supports the professional development of educators in Qatar.
