Ports and Airports Security Police Department wins Abu Dhabi International Airport’s annual Ramadan football tournament
The final of Abu Dhabi Airports Company’s annual Ramadan football tournament was won by Ports & Airports Security Police department last night, after a 6-1 thrilling final between the Police Department and Abu Dhabi Cargo Company (ADCC).
Sheikh Mohammed Al Mualla from ADAC and Colonel Href Al Marar from Ports & Airports Security Police department presented the two finalists the AED 50,000 prize, with the Ports and Airports Security Police Department receiving AED 20,000 and ADCC receiving AED 15,000. A prize of AED 2000 was also given to Liaqat Ali Murad as the Best Goal Keeper, and yaslim Al Tamimi as the Top Scorer of the tournament, both from the Ports and Airports security police Department. Following the prize ceremony, ADAC presented the Ports and Airports Security Department with a commemorative gift in appreciation to the Department’s continuous support to all of ADAC’s initiatives.
The tournament, sponsored by ATLAS Telecom, took place from August 7th to August 23rd at the stadium of Ports and Airports Security Police Department where 19 teams competed for the win. The tournament is an annual initiative organised by Abu Dhabi Airports Company to strengthen cooperation among partners and promote better collaboration and subsequently higher level of service quality.
Teams that took part in this year’s tournament included The Presidential Flight, Customs, Ports & Airports Security Police Department, Etihad Airways, and ADNOC and SEHA, as well as teams from ADAC and its subsidiaries.
