Pepsi Jordan Sponsors Dead Sea Ultra Marathon

Stemming from its firm belief in the importance of encouraging society members from all age groups to take part in sports, the Jordan Ice and Aerated Water Company – Pepsi Jordan, extended its support to the Dead Sea Ultra Marathon, in addition to the special Children’s Marathon. The event, which was organized by Run Jordan, under its slogan ‘Run for a Cause’, took place on Friday 13 April, 2018. While the children’s race took place a week prior to the main event, falling on Friday 6 April, 2018.
As part of its sponsorship of this unparalleled sporting event, Pepsi Jordan served as the Ultra Marathon’s official and exclusive source of pure drinking water, whereby it distributed Aquafina bottled water to participating runners, spectators, organizers and staff during the marathon, which consisted of four separate races, a 50-km ultra marathon, a 21-km half marathon, a 10-km fun run and a 4.2-km race for children.
On this occasion, Nidal Hamam, General Manager of Pepsi Jordan, expressed his delight at having maintained this cooperation with Run Jordan, reflecting the company's eagerness to support various sporting events in the Kingdom, while supporting meaningful humanitarian causes. He added, “We are pleased that such events continue to be held, encouraging individuals of all ages, young and old, to pursue sports activities, and embrace a healthier lifestyle, which will ultimately change their lives for the better"
