OSN’s new programming season to feature 70 exclusive movies every month, 5 new series and 13 new seasons starting this September

OSN’s new programming season which kicks-off this September is action-packed. Viewers can look forward to the biggest movie releases and new seasons of the latest award-winning series airing at the same time as the US, ensuring that viewers always see it first. 

The new programming, coupled with an inspiring re-launch of OSN’s on-air branding, will provide an extensive repertoire of 70 exclusive movies and over 10 blockbuster premieres every month; five brand new series; 13 new seasons of continuing shows; and fresh and edgy Arabic content, staying true to its ‘see it first and exclusively on OSN’ proposition.

September highlights: 

After its phenomenal success in Season 1 and 2, the world's biggest singing competition is back and Simon Cowell is reaching across America yet again in search of the next global superstar. This year, Cowell will be surrounded by women as Grammy Award-winning artist Kelly Rowland and international pop star Paulina Rubio join him and Demi Lovato as judges on The X Factor U.S. Catch the highs and lows exclusively on OSN First HD from Sept. 12 at 9pm UAE. 

Catch the fourth season of Steve Buscemi’s critically acclaimed Boardwalk Empire (Sept. 9 at 23:00 UAE); the wildly entertaining smash-hit HBO series True Blood Season 6 (Sept 29 at 23:00 UAE); the uber glamorous Revenge (Season 3 premiers on Sept 30 at 21:00 UAE);and the fifth season of Glee (Sept 27 at 20:00 UAE) all exclusively on OSN First HD. 

Audiences looking to have their funny bone tickled can revel in the hilarious antics of Lisa Kudrow’s Web Therapy Season 2(Sept 12 at 23:00 UAE) and the award-winning Veep (Sept 15 at 23:00 UAE) as it returns for its second run, only on OSN First Comedy HD. The brilliant Ellen DeGeneres, The Daily Show with Jon Stewart, and the prolific sketch comedy of Saturday Night Live, will also be available exclusively on OSN at the same time as its U.S. airing. 

Plus, television’s biggest night The 65^th Primetime Emmy Awards will be screened live on OSN. With over 50 shows that air exclusively on OSN nominated this year, the Emmy’s is a must watch. Guaranteed to be one of the most-watched events on television this year, OSN will bring the magic and glamour of the Emmy’s, matched with the charm of its host, the star of How I Met Your Mother,Neil Patrick Harris on Sept. 23 at 9pm UAE. 

On the movies front, the sixth installment of the hugely successful Fast & Furious 6, starring Vin Diesel, Paul Walker, Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson and Michelle Rodriguez will be available from Sept. 9, on OSN Movies Box Office 1. Trekkies and sci-fi fans can tune into the universe of Star Trek Into Darknesson OSN Movies Box Office 2 from Sept. 15 and Leonardo DiCaprio’s The Great Gatsby, from Sept. 20 plus, many more of the latest films uncut, uninterrupted and in stunning HD.
