OSN, the region’s leading pay-TV network, hosted two renowned stars from the UK’s longest running soap opera, Coronation Street – also known as Corrie - to meet and greet with fans at The Dubai Mall.

Sam Aston and Katie McGlynn, who play Chesney Brown and Sinead Tinker, were the star guests at the event, where fans also had the opportunity to enjoy a make-over and take souvenir photographs against the backdrop of Coronation Street’s fictional landmarks. Special replicas of Audrey’s Beauty Salon and Roy’s Rolls Café were on display, recreating the Coronation Street ambience in the midst of the mall.

OSN will now be presenting Corrie fans with the latest episodes of the much-acclaimed and long-running series, now set to air even closer to its UK telecast timings from May 18 on ITV Choice exclusively on OSN.

During the tour of the stars organised by OSN, lucky fans had the opportunity to gain insights on what excitement to expect in the upcoming episodes. They also took part in a competition involving a five-minute experience of being a part of the soap opera.

Since 1960, Coronation Street has been captivating the hearts of viewers worldwide. It centres on Coronation Street in Weatherfield, a fictional town based on Salford, Greater Manchester. Its terraced houses, café, corner shop, newsagents, textile factory and The Rovers Return pub make it special.
