Orange Jordan grants 20 University Scholarships for its Employees’ Children

As part of the company’s aims in supporting the education system, Orange Jordan grants 20 university scholarships for its employees’ children Tawjihi graduates with outstanding achievements for the year of 2013/2014 for the seventh consecutive year. This will contribute to a better well educated generation in the Jordanian Society.
Mr. Jean Francois Thomas Orange’s CEO stressed that the provision of these scholarships has become an integral part of the company’s ongoing programs in motivating the employees and recognizing their efforts by offering these scholarships that will not only support our employees, but also go beyond that to include their family members. This will make Orange Jordan as a preferred working environment as it supports its employees to bear the financial burden of educating their children.
He further explained that Orange scholarships will contribute to further improve the educational system outputs in order to provide the Kingdom with high academic competencies that can actively participate in the overall development process, taking the initiative for innovation and excellence through standard criteria such as student average as well as the employee’s salary, years of service, and beneficiaries’ children.
From his end, Jamal Al Masri Orange employee expressed his delight for the company’s gesture towards its employees in which better able me to fulfill my role as a father by granting my daughter Eman a scholarship that will enable her to build her future and achieve her dreams. While Fatima Abu Al Laban also expressed her delight in granting her daughter Farah this scholarship as it relieved her from looking for opportunities to finance her daughter’s education.
Notably, Orange Jordan and in collaboration with The Jordanian Hashemite Fund For Human Development to support goodwill campaign carried out by JOHUD, has also granted 10 university scholarships for eligible children of Jordanian families who are non Orange employees.
