Orange Jordan supports the winter edition of the good will campaign targeting the Tafila area

Orange Jordan recently sponsored the winter edition of the Jordan Hashemite Fund for Human Development’s (JOHUD) Good Will Campaign.

The campaign, which targets this year the Ghrandal area in the Governorate of Tafila is held under the patronage of Dr. Abdel Salam Al Abbadi, Deputy Head of initiative’s Supreme Committee. The initiative also witnessed the participation of members from Orange Jordan’s Employees CSR Volunteers Club.

The campaign was engaged in the distribution of winter clothing and food packages to over 150 needy families in the area alongside the setting up of 11 mobile clinics that cover all medical specialties. These clinics alongside a pharmacy were run as part of a free medical day.

Orange Jordan donated to each family benefiting from the campaign 2 winter blankets and 1 gasoline heater, thus donating a total of 300 blankets and 150 heaters to this good cause.

On this occasion, CEO of Orange Jordan Mr. Jean-Francois Thomas stated that the company is always committed to reducing the hardships of less fortunate segments of the society, and that its aid extends to encompass all areas of the Kingdom. Within this resolve the company is fulfilling its mission to change life for the better.

Mr. Thomas further added that this endeavor is only one of many the company spearheads as part of its CSR strategy. Its volunteers’ club is launched from its strive to make community service an integral part of its corporate structure. Furthermore, the company holds the highest regard for the efforts conducted by JOHUD to improve living conditions for all segments of the society. In its programs it makes valuable strides to elevate standards of education, health, and community empowerment.

Orange Jordan’s contributions to JOHUD’s Good Will campaign fall in line with a long term partnership agreement signed by both sides.
