Optimus and NetIQ participate in GISEC 2013

Optimus Technology and Telecommunications, a leading regional Value Added Distributor (VAD) of IT and telecommunications products, today announced that together with its vendor-partner - NetIQ, it is participating in GISEC 2013, which is scheduled to be held from June 3-5, 2013. Senior executives from NetIQ and Optimus will be available at their stand B6-35 to meet with customers and partners and share insights into technologies such as identity and access management, compliance automation and management, virtual capacity management and consolidation planning, and server disaster recovery to name a few.
“GISEC 2013 is the region’s most anticipated IT security knowledge platform, which will focus on curtailing acts on cyber crime, while creating awareness about the latest cyber security trends in addition to providing solutions to governments for legislation dealing with cyber crime in the Middle East. It is a perfect platform for us to showcase NetIQ’s wide range of solutions, meet with customers and partners and offer demonstrations of NetIQ’s products. Since this is a niche IT security event, we are confident of getting the right focused audience, who are scouting for the latest security solutions available in the market,” says Meera Kaul, Managing Director of Optimus Technology & Telecommunications.
NetIQ is a global, enterprise software company, with a focus on the three persistent challenges in corporate environment: change, complexity and risk—and how NetIQ can help companies control them. The company's product portfolio for managing security and compliance, identity and access, and performance and availability, helps organisations to cost-effectively tackle information protection challenges such as PCI DSS, HIPAA, SOX and NERC CIP and manage the complexity of dynamic, highly-distributed application environments.
Experts from both companies will be available at the event to share global success stories and implementations with visitors at the event.
