Ooredoo wins Leading Corporate for Investor Relations Award

Ooredoo has won the award for Leading Corporate for Investor Relations in Oman 2022. The event was organised by the Middle East Investor Relations Association (MEIRA) at the Annual Conference and Investor Relations Awards Ceremony in Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The accolade recognises the company’s effective relations with its shareholders, analysts, and other stakeholders within the investment community. This year, the prestigious award was presented by Haitham Al Salmi, Chief Executive Officer of Muscat Stock Exchange, to Ahmed Al Khuzairi, Head of Treasury, Investor Relations & Insurance at Ooredoo. 

The award win is a testament to Ooredoo’s Investor Relations Team, and their proven in constantly serving the interests of shareholders and analysts to the highest levels of service and providing timely and transparent information about the company’s performance. MEIRA recently concluded the 14th edition of what is considered to be the largest IR annual event in the Middle East and North Africa region. The organisation aims to promote Industry Best Practices to enhance the reputation, efficiency, and attractiveness of regional capital markets, while the MEIRA awards recognise investor relations’ champions in the region.
