Ooredoo concludes year with employee open day

Ooredoo Kuwait, a member of the international Ooredoo Group, held an open day for its employees and their families at Sirbb Circuit last week. The day focused on rewarding employees for their contribution to the company’s success and achievements in 2015.

This annual event reflects Ooredoo’s commitment to its employees and one of the ways the company uses to acknowledge their teams hard work and loyalty.

The open day was attended by management of Ooredoo Kuwait, who thanked attendees for their hard work and ongoing support. Throughout the day, staff members and their families enjoyed a wide range of activities for adults and kids in addition to carting races. The open day also included a special awards ceremony for employee’s outstanding performance for third quarter of 2015. The winners were Mohammad Tawfiq and Abdullah Al-Kankouni from Sales, Lama Barakat and Vardwala Fakhruddin from Customer Care, Balachandar Devrajan from Finance, Hussam Al-Rifai from Business Sales, Fajer Al-Matrouk from Corporate Communication, Marian Awadalla from Human Resources, Gopi Bobba from Marketing, Asha Philip and Karim Makar from Technology, Saad Al-Azemi, Tapan Tripathi and Bharatan Shankar Praveen from across the organization for their contribution to different projects.

Additionally, all the divisions and departments involved in the iPhone 6S launch event on October were awarded for their contribution to the successful event, which garnered positive feedback across the country.

Alayoub added that Ooredoo Kuwait had a successful year with many positive turns, and claimed several local and regional awards for its exceptional achievements.
