Ooredoo Kuwait, the fastest network in Kuwait for 2016, announced that it will celebrate Eid al-Adha with a production of Iftah Ya Simsim, the Arabic version of the beloved children’s program Sesame Street. The play will be staged for three consecutive days in the Ice Skating Rink Theater in Kuwait City – Soor Street. Tickets can be found at Ooredoo’s branches in 360 Mall, Avenus Mall, and Gate Mall from 10 am to 10 pm.

The play aims to instill a number of values in kids, such as caring for the environment, recycling, conserving water and electricity, following the traffic laws, in addition to introducing them to a number of vocations and jobs. The play also teaches healthy habits, respect for parents and the elderly, and includes segments about numbers and letters and colors.

The play is produced in cooperation with the Gulf Cooperation Council’s Joint Program Production Institute, which is the main supporter of the Iftah Ya Simsim project since the 1970’s.

The play is brought to Kuwait by EventMania, and directed by young Saudi theater director Yasser Al-Madkhali, in cooperation with Headline Productions.
