Oman Air Signs Takaful Oman as Local Partner for Travel Insurance
Oman Air has signed a strategic agreement with Takaful Oman Insurance SAOG, a leading provider of Sharia compliant insurance solutions in the Sultanate, appointing the company as its local partner for travel insurance. The offering is supported by global travel insurance technology provider Insurte, with ISA Assist as the strategic program architect, delivering a fully integrated, end-to-end solution encompassing travel insurance, reinsurance, and global medical and travel assistance.
The partnership enables Oman Air guests to purchase a range of travel insurance options seamlessly embedded within the booking journey, providing greater convenience and choice when planning their travel. At the same time, the agreement reflects the airline’s commitment to supporting Omani businesses and contributing to the country’s broader economic development goals under Oman Vision 2040. Strengthening In-Country Value (ICV) remains a key focus for Oman Air, with its spending on local companies having tripled between 2024 and 2025.
