OCTAL Celebrates 47th Omani National Day with Community Engagement Drive

Under the patronage of Mr. Akram Hassan Al-Marazza, Director General, Directorate General of Commerce and Industry, Dhofar Governorate, Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Salalah, OCTAL celebrated the 47th National Day with activities geared to highlighting the importance of sustainability, as well as Oman’s rich cultural heritage. The manufacturing powerhouse’s employees planted over 100 native trees as part of a drive to extend the greenbelt at its complex in the Salalah Free Zone. The company’s employees in Muscat visited the recently opened National Museum, gaining insights into Oman’s history and culture through hands-on exhibits, live demonstrations, and documentary films.

Mr. Al-Marazza, said, “OCTAL’s community engagement activities are playing an exemplary role in showcasing how companies throughout Oman can give back and make positive contributions to the communities they serve.
