Oasis 500 hosts “Creative Business Cup - Jordan” competition

Oasis500, a leading seed stage investment and business accelerator, and the first of its kind in Jordan and the MENA region, is hosting Creative Business Cup – Jordan, the local initiative for entrepreneurship and innovation, and the entry point to compete as a finalist at the International Creative Business Cup (CBC) in Copenhagen. The purpose of Creative Business Cup is to strengthen the business skills of creative entrepreneurs and to increase all participating startups’ ability to successfully create a company based on their creative abilities.

Each year, Creative Business Cup National Partners around the world host national Creative Business Cup competitions in their own countries. Oasis500 is the CBC national partner in Jordan. The national winner from Jordan will be given the chance to compete against the other national winners from around the world at the international Creative Business Cup competition in Copenhagen, Denmark, next November during the Global Entrepreneurship Week. Entrepreneurs from the Creative Industries with a good business idea and a registered company are eligible to compete.

Entrepreneurs from different creative sectors are encouraged to apply including; design, architecture, crafts, visual and performing arts, music, media, publishing, TV and radio, traditional and video games, gastronomy, film, video and photography. The creative entrepreneur must own the intellectual property rights for their idea, and the jury will draw upon creativity and market potential when choosing the winner. 

The Jordan Creative Business Cup competition winner will be sent to participate in the Creative Business Cup international finals, held annually in Copenhagen - Denmark each November, and Oasis500 will cover the winner’s travel and accommodation costs. The winner will get the chance to present their business concept in front of international jury members and compete  against the other national winners, as well as get media coverage, the opportunity to scale up internationally, and meet international entrepreneurs and investors in this global annual event.
