EQUATE Petrochemical Company and Kuwait Association for the Care of Children in Hospitals (KACCH) launched the Painting Smiles exhibition at 360 Mall during March 14-17, 2012 under the patronage of Ministry of Health Undersecretary Dr. Ibrahim Al-Abdulhadi.
On this occasion, EQUATE VP for Technical Services and head of EQUATE Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Team Mohammad Al-Benali said, “Painting Smiles, as a campaign dedicated to children receiving treatment at Kuwaiti hospitals, is a true manifestation of a sustainable partnership with KAACH aimed at serving and supporting children through developing their artistic talents to aid their recovery through all possible means.”
On her part, KACCH Director Margaret Al-Sayer said, “Research has shown that when the stress of hospitalization is reduced, children respond better to treatment, have fewer complications, get better more quickly, are discharged sooner and are less likely to regress.”
EQUATE and KACCH present “Painting Smiles,” a program dedicated to supporting children in hospitals. The “Painting Smiles” exhibition will bring together the works of many children. Community members will have the opportunity to support this effort with your attendance and own paintings with their funds allocated to support such children. Let us paint a smile!
