National Bank of Oman (NBO) organised a special celebration at its headquarters in Azaiba.

In commemoration of Oman’s 52nd National Day and to pay tribute to Oman’s visionary leader, His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik, National Bank of Oman (NBO) organised a special celebration at its headquarters in Azaiba. The event, was attended by the bank’s Chairperson, Amal Suhail Bahwan, board members and senior management, as well as the media, and other key stakeholders. The event included a department decorating competition themed around the Omani culture and traditions as well as an art exhibition showcasing Oman’s famous, traditional clothes and handicrafts from different regions, and live performances by the Royal Guard of Oman Drumline and Omani singer, Nora Al Nudhairi who collaborated with the bank to produce ‘Ser Al Ehsas’ song on the occasion of the National Day. 

NBO demonstrates its long-standing commitment to Oman’s 2040 Vision for socio-economic development and continues to introduce many initiatives that foster progress and empower the community. In the run-up to the event, NBO also invited local Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) to take part in its in-house marketplace initiative, where they were able to sell their products to the bank’s employees and visitors. Established in [2021], its marketplace initiative has helped many SMEs to unlock opportunities and grow while it continues to fulfil its goal to serve its community beyond banking.
