NBK main sponsor of the Third Kuwait Financial Forum

National Bank of Kuwait (NBK) is the main sponsor of the Third Kuwait Financial Forum that is due to be held under the patronage of H.H the Prime Minister of the State of Kuwait Sheikh Nasser Al-Mohammad Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah on October 31^st and November 1^st, 2011. The Forum is organized by Al-Iktisad Wal-Aamal Group in cooperation with the Kuwait Central Bank and the Kuwait Bank Association.

Isam Al Sager, NBK Group Deputy CEO, said: “NBK's sponsorship of this forum comes in alignment with the bank's ongoing policy of supporting all national economic activities and events, notably those geared towards highlighting and discussing pressing topics and issues of the hour in addition to reflecting a positive image of the Kuwaiti financial and banking sectors”.

"The forum will discuss a number of pressing topics and issues that have direct relevance to the unprecedented challenges facing the Arab economies as a result of the recent developments in the region and the international financial crisis. The forum will also discuss the outlook of the global economy in light of the American and European debt crisis and its implications on the emerging markets", Al Sager added.

Given its importance and timing, the forum is expected to attract a host of Arab finance ministers and central banks governors as well as heads and executive managers of the major banks and financial institutions in the Arab world in addition to economists and banking experts.
