NBK distributes Iftar meals in Shuwaikh Industrial Area

National Bank of Kuwait (NBK) has distributed hundreds of Iftar meals via special convoys manned by NBK’s Public Relations team in the Shuwaikh Industrial Area. As part of its ongoing corporate social responsibility and drive to ‘Do Good Deeds’ during the holy month of Ramadan, NBK handed out boxes of healthy meals to fasters throughout the area.

NBK Public Relations Officer Talal Al Turki said that the strong response of fasters at Shuwaikh Industrial area encourages us to extend the reach of NBK’s "Do Good Deeds in Ramadan" Campaign to cover other similar areas in Kuwait.

“Hundreds of fasters are also attending the daily NBK’s Iftar banquets at its head office in Sharq. NBK will continue providing Iftar meals to fasters throughout the month of Ramadan”, Al Turki added. “The Iftar banquets, the annual NBK philanthropic tradition and landmark activity within the bank's corporate social responsibility, are gaining much more momentum this year as NBK decided to widen the scale of Iftar meals distribution to embrace most mosques, strategic and crowded locations in Kuwait”.

Al Turki said” "The distribution scale and range of Al Watani Iftar banquets this year will be broader, more extensive and involves a larger number of NBK staff volunteers, in addition to distributing hundreds of fast-breaking meals via special convoys to numerous mosques, strategic and crowded locations in Kuwait".

“By ‘Doing Good Deeds’ NBK hopes to encourage a greater sense of community and charity during Ramadan and encourages its customers and staff to participate by ‘doing good deeds’ all month long”, Al Turki concluded.
