National Bank of Oman Hosts 2nd Annual Health Research Day
Continuing the bank’s support for Government-led initiatives, National Bank of Oman (NBO) hosted the 2nd Annual Health Research Day at their headquarters in Athabia. The event was organized by the Ministry of Health (MOH) under the patronage of H.E Dr. Darwish bin Saif Al Muharbi, Under-Secretary for Administrative & Financial Affairs at MOH, and attended by members from the Ministry and NBO. The Health Research Day aimed to promote a culture of scientific research, and encourage researchers to publish and document results to improve public health and the standard of services provided in the Sultanate.
Commenting on the event, Hassan Shaban, General Manager - Chief Government Banking Officer at NBO, said: “We are proud of our long-standing relationship with the Government sector and in particular our cooperation with the Ministry of Health. Hosting such events confirms our commitment to the collaboration between the public and private sectors, and cements our position as the Bank of Choice. We were pleased with the research and studies presented by the experts in the field and look forward to hosting more of these initiatives.
