Musanada delivers phase 1 of Neima Housing Project in Al Ain

Abu Dhabi General Services "Musanada" announced today that it has successfully delivered phase 1 of infrastructure work for the new complex Neima housing in Al Ain. Work on this project which spans over 150 hectares and includes 1080 sq metre 493 plots dedicated for villas for the Nationals, commenced in May 2009.  Musanada started handing over the project to the concerned government authorities at the beginning of August this year.

Commenting on this important milestone, H.E Mohamed Khalifa Al Fahed Al Mehairi, CEO of Musanada said: “The Neima infrastructure project is one of the most significant projects we have undertaken in Al Ain. The delivery of phase one of infrastructure work on-time and under-budget bears witness to Musanada’s commitment to achieving Abu Dhabi 2030 Vision by providing highly reliable and world-class services to the Abu Dhabi Government.”

The infrastructure work for the Neima project encompasses site settlement, a 18 km sewer system that includes 847 manholes ready for house connections, a 15 km of storm water drainage network with 620 discharge slots, in addition to the 27 km of water supply network with 107 valve chambers including several type of valves.

Remarking on the National Housing Project in Al Ain, Abdallah Al Ameri the Chief Executive Officer of Al Ain Municipality stated: “We are proud to announce that through our close collaboration with Musanada we have managed to complete the first phase of the National Housing project in Neima ahead of schedule, showcasing that the Abu Dhabi Vision 2030 of sustainability and development concerns all citizens across the Emirate of Abu Dhabi .”

The project also includes a 13 kilometre road network dedicated to asphalt pavements, car parking and pedestrian walkways of interlock tiles and road marking, in addition to a street lighting network encompassing 8-metre height 420 light poles equipped with 150 watt lamps. The project has also seen the establishment of a 37 km electricity network of low and high pressure cables along with 14 substations for future fiber optics cable installation.

Commenting on this achievement, Faisal Al Dhaheri, Project Manager at Musanada said: “The design and services provided for this infrastructure project have been approved by the concerned government service departments ensure that the projects is accurately planned and implemented as per its assigned sets of world-class specifications, instructions, standards and requirements. We look forward to handing over phase 2 on time and with the same remarkable standards”.
