Millennium Resort Mussanah kick starts 2016 with the appointment of new HR manager

Millennium Resort Mussanah has appointed Khalid Yousuf Al Balushi as its new Human Resources and Administration Manager as part of its efforts to attract qualified Omani talent. In his new role Al Balushi will be in charge of all human resource matters, the planning and implementation of human resource policies and procedures, employee relations, performance management as well as recruitment and training.

With almost two decades of experience in Human Resource management, Khalid has played a key role in some of the most prestigious public and private sector companies in the Sultanate. Starting his career with the Ministry of Interior in 1996, he later worked as Human Resource and Administration Manager for a number of firms including Larsen & Toubro Heavy Engineering, Oman Investment & Finance Co., and the Oman Automobile Association. Known for his communication skills and professionalism, Khalid’s proven ability as a team leader has allowed him to improve the HR performance of every company he has worked for to date.

Khalid’s appointment comes as the Resort continues implementing its strategic program of promoting and developing the capabilities of qualified Omani professionals. Millennium Resort Mussanah currently employs 99 Omanis in a variety of managerial, administrative, and technical positions.  As part of its commitment to enhancing the local cadre’s hospitality knowledge and know-how, the Resort also adopts several training programmes including on the job training in sister hotels around the world.

Entering the New Year on a high note, Millennium Resort Mussanah has also announced plans to upgrade its product and service offering through the introduction of new amenities and the enhancement of some of its popular facilities to adding even more variety for its guests to enjoy.
