Millennium Resort Mussanah Becomes More Accessible With New Mwasalat Bus Routes
Driving tourism growth in the South Al Batinah Governorate, Millennium Resort Mussanah by Omran, Oman’s Tourism Management Company, joined hands with Oman National Transport Company ‘Mwasalat’ to link the award-winning property to the Sultanate’s growing public bus network. As part of the agreement, public transportation from Mwasalat will provide tourists and residents in Muscat with a service to and from the resort seven days a week starting Friday February 2nd 2018.
The new service connects Millennium Resort Mussanah to Muscat through Route 42. The buses depart from Muscat three times daily, leaving at 07.30 AM, 11.30 AM and 15.30PM, and arriving at the resort by respectively 09.00 AM, 13.00 PM and 17.20PM. The route subsequently departs from Millennium Resort Mussanah at 09.30 AM, 13.30 PM, and 17.30 PM, arriving to Muscat at 11.00 AM, 15.00 PM and 19.00 PM.

Tickets on Mwasalat’s new highly affordable routes can be purchased from any of the company’s offices or directly from bus drivers. One-way trips from Muscat to the resort will cost just 3 OMR, while travellers from Barka, will be charged 1.5 OMR. Round trip tickets, perfect for visitors who want to experience a slice of the South Al Batinah’s most popular resort, cost 5.5 OMR from Muscat, and 2.8 OMR from Barka.
