Millennium Resort Mussanah appoints new Executive Chef

Taking its culinary creations to greater heights, Millennium Resort Mussanah announced the appointment of Dakshnamoorthy Subramanian as its new Executive Chef. A veteran of the hospitality industry with over 20 years of experience, Dakshnamoorthy will lead the resort’s kitchen staff and ensure all dishes are of the highest quality. As part of its commitment to exceed the expectations of its guests, the resort also announced that its new Executive Chef will be modifying its menu and bringing a new set of food presentation techniques that promise to thrill and satisfy visitors from all over the world.
Chef Dakshnamoorthy’s long list of achievements include 10 years working for some of the biggest brands in the GCC. After working in India for a decade, he began his career abroad as a Pastry chef for Le Royal Meridien Beach Resort and Spa in Fujairah before a two year stint in Kuwait as a Pastry Chef at The Regency Hotel. Prior to working in Oman, Dakshnamoorthy served as the Executive Sous Chef at the esteemed Qatar National Exhibition Centre, where throughout his four year tenure he led a multi-national team of 120 staff.

Set on the picturesque Al Batinah coastline, Millennium Resort Mussanah is home to three restaurants (Mydan, Al Bahar and Azure) serving a range of local and international delicacies, buffet options fit for both formal as well as casual dining occasions. With private terraces facing the Indian Ocean, culinary delights served at the resort have been designed to fit every taste and mood. Guests also can choose freshly made beverages and snacks at the Naseem Lounge, The Deck, and Pool Bar.
