Mercedes-Benz Oman Commercial Vehicles Welcomes Rory Allen as General Manager

Mercedes-Benz Oman has announced the appointment of Rory Allen as General Manager of Commercial Vehicles. Drawing on more than a decade of experience with Mercedes-Benz, Allen is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the business’s operations in Muscat, Sohar, Salalah and Haima to ensure it maintains its position as the market leader for commercial vehicles in the Sultanate.

Allen joins Mercedes-Benz Oman from Mercedes-Benz and MTU in Kuwait where he achieved notable successes in multiple senior management positions, with a portfolio of responsibilities including performance optimization, sales, aftersales, and customer satisfaction. He oversaw three years of record growth, delivered significant increases in profitability, and witnessed both passenger cars and commercial vehicles reach number one market positions, with consistent improvements in customer satisfaction. Prior to his roles in Kuwait, Allen has previously worked for the brand in a number of sales and service positions in Germany, the UK and UAE. He has special interests in strategic and operational management, business excellence and Customer service.
