MBA students from Florida International University visit HMC to learn about healthcare in Qatar

On 14 August, a total of 40 healthcare MBA students from Florida International University (USA) visited Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC) as part of their program’s international residency. Their visit to Qatar was part of a wider regional study tour, which included stops in Dubai and Abu Dhabi, to learn more about the healthcare systems in the GCC region. During their visit, students were introduced to HMC as a leading academic health system, with a focus on clinical care, education, and research.

Students also learned about the healthcare context in Qatar, healthcare data, quality management, preventive healthcare, and national health policy. Dr Abdullatif Al Khal, HMC’s Deputy Chief Medical Officer and Director of Medical Education, is seen speaking to the MBA students.
