Mashreq inaugurates Ibn Battuta branch

Reflecting on its commitment to implement its expansion strategy, Mashreq announced the opening of its latest branch in Ibn Battuta Mall located in Andalusia Court.

The inaugural was unusual with a special tent set-up for the occasion and exciting activities for all customers and mall visitors. To showcase the culture and heritage of the UAE, customers were in for a treat; with a Camel ride for everyone and a chance to see a live falcon show.

The official launch was attended senior staff of Mashreq, led by Farhad Irani, Head of Retail Banking Group, Shaker Zainal, Head of Distribution and Ahmed Awadh Branch Manager of Ibn Battuta Mall.

Attracting mall visitors, the launch of the branch witnessed a crowd. Customers enjoyed the henna designs and face paintings for kids. The newly opened branch will be operational from 10am through to 10pm, Saturday to Thursday and 2pm to 10pm on Fridays and will offer a complete range of products & services including cash transactions.

Mashreq recently launched the UAE’s first Instant Banking service ‘Mashreq Go’ to offering a financial product in just 30 minutes such as a Platinum Elite Credit Card, a Debit Card or a Current Account with a Cheque Book. Customers can also apply for a personal loan and get money into their account in just 24 hrs.
