Mashreq celebrates 40th UAE National Day

Mashreq, one of the UAE’s leading financial institutions announced the launch of its celebrations to mark the UAE’s 40^th National Day. The move demonstrates the bank’s aim to commemorate this joyous occasion with its customers and the people of the UAE.

The bank organized various activities for its customers to mark this special occasion through its 54 branches strategically located across the seven Emirates. One of the main highlights is the tent set-up in front of the branch in Jumeriah Beach Residence – The Walk from 1^st to 3^rd December from 5pm – 11pm, which will include cultural and fun activities aimed at instilling union spirit. Customers are invited to visit branches and the tent to interact and enjoy the celebrations.

Mashreq is an avid supporter towards fostering and nurturing UAE Nationals to serve the country and take up leadership positions across the bank. To achieve this, Mashreq has developed dedicated programs to be able to recruit, train, develop and retain UAE Nationals employees. One of the various programs is Mashreq Al Mustaqbal program, which seeks high potential fresh graduates, Al Forsa Program and College Work Placement Program, which is a flexible program for undergraduates.

Mashreq is a lead player towards Emaratisati achieving 41.53%, and setting an example by partnering with many local entities such as Emirates National Development Program (ENDP) to promote and attract Emarati workforce to work in the banking field. It has also signed an agreement with Higher Colleges of Technology (HCT) to become one of the founding members of the HCT Foundation’s HCT 100 corporate to provide HCT students with opportunities to develop skills and careers in the growing UAE banking sector.
