Luxury watchmaker Gc announces four emerging personalities as the UAE representatives for their international “Smart Luxury” campaign

The luxury Swiss Made watch brand Gc has announced the names of the four UAE residents who have been chosen as the quintessential representatives of Gc and its “Smart Luxury” signature. The four individuals form part of a larger international campaign called “Moments of Smart Luxury captured by Gc” which is a worldwide photographic concept that was unveiled at Baselworld 2011.
The concept focuses on promoting emerging creative personalities who are ‘rising stars’ in their respective fields and embody the personality and characteristics of the Gc brand: ambitious, dynamic, self-assured and proud of their success. The four individuals have been photographed living out their passions ‘at work’ by Brazilian-born photographer Pino Gomes, who is world renowned for his exceptional skill at capturing the true essence and emotions of his subjects.
The four chosen individuals will also be honoured at a special event on October 11th 2011 in Dubai and they are: Omar Khoori, 24 year old Emirati equestrian and show jumper, Athari Khalfan Obaid Khalfan, 27 year old Emirati painter, Shayma Ahmed Al Mughairy, 17 year old Omani sand artist, and Rhoda Oghly, 28 year old Syrian-Canadian sketch artist.
Smart Luxury is not only the signature of the Gc brand, but also signifies the ‘feel good’ factor that comes with knowing that one has made the right choice, both in one’s personal and professional life.
