In response to the demand for an enhanced learning environment in regional schools,  LG Electronics is redefining the education solutions market with its ‘future classroom’ theme at Gulf Education Supplies and Solutions (GESS) running until 3 March. This will be the second time LG participates in the leading education conference promising an engaging new line of smart education solutions.

At GESS, LG is showcasing a new-age fitted out classroom that sets a new benchmark in smart education. The practical environment is showcasing a collaborative new experience using LG’s latest interactive digital signage and cloud collaboration solutions.

Commenting on LG’s focus on the educational display solutions, Mr. Audai Altaie, Regional Director of B2B Sales at LG Electronics said, “As 2016 has been marked as the year of reading, we wanted to demonstrate our commitment to the cause by developing and bringing to the market our innovative and advanced educational display solutions. LG has been known to provide leading interactive display solutions but as education institutions are rapidly evolving, we wanted to demonstrate how our new solutions could effectively deliver educational content and truly be integrated into schools across the region.”

In the future classroom, LG is demonstrating the “flipped learning” pedagogical model that is rapidly being integrated into schools across the region. This learning method promotes students to access lessons before coming to class and allows educators to strengthen the key learnings through in-class interactions and group activities. This creative new education model is supported by the technological advances in the education supplies industry and requires customizable products that can be adapted to different levels and courses.

LG’s current product line-up has been optimized for educational institutions including the 84” 10-point built-in touch ultra HD display that provides astonishing picture quality and performance for learning environments. The superior interactivity provided by its IR spread technology is an effective tool for facilitating active participation. In addition, the 5mm protection glass and centralized control brings efficiency and peace of mind to IT managers.

In addition, LG is launching the t 86” Ultra Stretch Display, with a 58:9 aspect ratio that can display dynamic content in school hallways, library and art galleries. Its immersive 4K Ultra HD resolution and useful Picture-by-Picture (PBP) feature, allows the user to divide the long, rectangular screen into four parts in landscape or portrait installations empowering integrators to customize the screen and maximize content.
