Celebrated on the 1st of November, World Vegan Day was established in 1994 by Louise Wallis, the then President and Chair of The Vegan Society, United Kingdom, to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the founding of the organization. This day is observed mainly by vegans around the world, actively promoting the benefits of veganism, a lifestyle and dietary choice that eliminates the use of animal products for food, clothing, or any other purpose. This plan aims to reduce carbon emissions intensity at the product usage stage and ensuring a company-wide compliance with major environmental regulations, such as the European Commission’s ‘Ecodesign for Sustainable Products Regulation (ESPR).’
