LeasePlan Emirates participates in a discussion on the breakthrough technology ‘Telematics’ across the region

LeasePlan Emirates, a vehicle leasing and fleet management specialist based in Abu Dhabi, revealed during its participation in Commercial Vehicles Middle East 2012, held in Dubai from 6-8 March, the Telematics application and its return on investment for fleet management companies. The state-of-the-art technology aims to maximize fleet efficiency and enhance the integrated use of telecommunications and information technology.

Ajay Narain, General Manager of LeasePlan Emirates, delivered a speech during the conference explaining the advantages of having such technology, adding that this leading technology allows for better vehicle tracking, satellite navigation, fleet management, emergency warning and maximizes efficiency in terms of vehicle recovery, maintenance and repairs, and journey management. LeasePlan Emirates has experience of dealing with Telematics devices and subsequent reporting to support it’s customers particularly those conducting business out of oil fields in the UAE.
