KIB successfully concludes summer camp for its employees’ children and relatives
During the event

Kuwait International Bank (KIB) recently concluded the activities of its summer camp designed specifically for its employees’ children and relatives. Organized in collaboration with INJAZ Kuwait, the KIB Summer Camp stems from the Bank’s firm belief in the power of education and training in the KIB Life Academy. The step comes as part of KIB’s eagerness and commitment to support entrepreneurs and micro-enterprises in line with government directives to encourage entrepreneurship among Kuwaiti youth within the framework of achieving Kuwait Vision 2035.
Commenting on the initiative, Siham AlKhorayef, Manager – Learning and Development at KIB said: “The children participating in the camp had the opportunity to learn the basics of saving money and its different techniques. The camp also helped them build business acumen and develop their innovation capabilities, especially since the program was designed with extensive and comprehensive expertise.” She added that the program included numerous interactive classes and exciting activities based on challenges, in addition to sessions dedicated to enhancing public speaking skills.
Moreover, AlKhorayef affirmed KIB’s ongoing investment in its employees in a comprehensive manner that extends to their families and relatives, saying: “Through this distinguished program, we sought to offer our employees’ children the opportunity to develop their minds, build on their experiences and enhance their social skills in an enjoyable practical environment that encourages innovation. The program also provided them with basic knowledge and life skills that would benefit them in the future and help them eventually launch their own small and medium enterprises.”
The two-week program was divided between two groups of children. The first group included children between 8 and 10 years old who participated in lessons about the importance of family, the nation, and its people. In addition, they attended a workshop and took part in different competitions, with the winning team walking away with a KD 250 prize.
The second group included children between the ages of 11 and 14. This group’s focus was on business and entrepreneurship, covering topics such as ‘More Than Money’, ‘It’s My Business’, and ‘Entrepreneurship Master Class’. The participants tackled various challenges and the winning team received KD 500.
It is worth noting that KIB is continuously committed to supporting educational initiatives and community activities. This commitment is rooted in its strong belief in the importance of supporting young Kuwaiti talents and encouraging them to achieve their ambitions, as part of its comprehensive social responsibility program.
