KIB concludes its participation in the fourth edition of Watheefti career fair
Kuwait International Bank (KIB) concluded its participation in the fourth edition of Watheefti, Kuwait’s largest and most prominent employment fair, which took place from October 16th to 18th, 2025, at The Arena – 360 Mall. Having been present for the third consecutive year, KIB’s participation highlighted the Bank’s unwavering dedication to supporting young Kuwaiti professionals and graduates in pursuing meaningful career paths in the banking sector.
Commenting on KIB’s continued involvement in the fair, Hadi Hadi, Acting General Manager of Human Resources at KIB said: “Every year, Watheefti reminds us that Kuwait’s greatest asset is its people, and KIB’s participation reflects our firm belief in the potential of Kuwait’s youth and our ongoing commitment to nurturing and empowering them to thrive in the private sector. Over the years, this platform has proven invaluable in connecting ambitious young professionals with career opportunities that align with their skills and aspirations, and we were proud to once again be part of this important national initiative.”
He added: “We were excited to meet ambitious individuals who are ready to shape the future of banking with fresh ideas and a passion for progress. Young professionals were able to see that a career at KIB is more than a role; it’s a partnership built on learning, collaboration, and shared success. At our booth, visitors had the opportunity to meet KIB representatives and learn more about the diverse roles, training programs, and development opportunities we offer.”
Hadi underscored that “KIB believes in investing in people, equipping them with the knowledge, tools, and experience they need to grow professionally and contribute to Kuwait’s sustainable economic progress. Whether someone dreams of becoming a financial analyst, a digital innovator, or a customer experience leader, our Bank provides the environment and support to turn those ambitions into reality.”
During the three-day event, KIB’s Human Resources team received applications, conducted introductory discussions, and shared insights about the Bank’s dynamic work culture. The Bank’s participation also extended to promote greater financial literacy and awareness among attendees, in support of national initiatives such as the ‘Let’s Be Aware’ (Diraya) campaign launched by the Central Bank of Kuwait and the Kuwait Banking Association in collaboration with local banks.
Bringing together top organizations and thought leaders, Watheefti 2025 created a bridge between employers and the next generation of Kuwaiti talent. It gathered leading institutions from across Kuwait’s private sector, offering a valuable opportunity for job seekers and recent graduates to explore diverse career paths, attend workshops, and network with industry experts. As in previous editions, the fair featured conferences and sessions held at the Grand Hyatt alongside the exhibition at The Arena.
KIB continues to underscore its role as a notable financial institution that not only drives economic development but also prioritizes the growth and empowerment of Kuwait’s national talent.
