KIB announces the winners of the first draw in its Summer Card Campaign

Kuwait, 25 July 2024: Kuwait International Bank (KIB) has announced the names of the winners of the first draw in its Summer Card Campaign, designed to reward its Visa Credit and Prepaid Cardholders and recently launched in collaboration with Visa. The winners are Faisal Ayesh AlSalameen, Abdulaziz Fouad Abdulathim, Sulaiman Khalaf AlHussaini, Mohammed Saad AlDosari, Othman Eid Al Shammeri, Nawaf Hamad AlGhanim, Waleed Mahmoud Awaad, Hussain Khalil Abbas, Eissa Eid Alazmi, and Hamad Waleed AlDuwaisan. The announcement was made in the presence of representatives from the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, as well as KIB representatives.

Commenting on the occasion, Laila Naserallah, Senior Manager of Product Development at the Digital Innovation and Data Intelligence Department, said: “We are pleased to announce the winners of the first draw of this campaign, which falls within the framework of the Bank's comprehensive strategy. This strategy underscores our commitment to offering the best banking benefits and products that enhance the customer experience and suit their lifestyle, in line with our main slogan, Bank for Life.” She added: “This initiative, aimed at rewarding KIB customers, runs throughout the travel and holiday season, making it a valuable addition to their lives and providing a great opportunity to enjoy an exceptional shopping experience both in Kuwait and abroad.”

This special campaign, which runs until August, continues to attract more customers who wish to earn double Cashback on purchases made with their cards, both within Kuwait and abroad. The prize amount will be equal to the Cashback earned during the draw spending period, with the minimum prize set at KD 150 and the maximum prize set at KD 600. This means that for every purchase made, cardholders will have a chance to win and receive twice the usual Cashback amount. 

On his part, Ali Hinnawi, Visa’s Business Development Lead for Kuwait, said: “We are delighted to partner with KIB to reward our Visa cardholders in Kuwait with exciting prizes. By incentivizing the bank’s customers to use their Visa cards and rewarding them when they do, we’re supporting the Kuwait government’s digital commerce agenda for the benefit of consumers and businesses. The latest campaign enables KIB customers who are holders of Visa Classic, Gold, Platinum, Signature, and Infinite Credit Cards or Visa Prepaid and Multicurrency Prepaid Cards to qualify for the campaign. Customers enter the monthly draw when using eligible KIB cards for their purchases of at least KD 600 for Credit Cards and KD 200 for Prepaid Cards, whether within or outside Kuwait. They will receive one chance to enter the draw for every KD 10 spent locally, and three chances for every KD 10 spent internationally during the campaign period. 

It is worth noting that KIB spares no effort in launching different banking initiatives in partnership with Visa, such as the ‘Surprises for Every Season’ campaign, the February promotion commemorating Kuwait’s National and Liberation Day, and the ‘Win with KIB Rewards’ campaign, and much more.
