Kia Rio takes home MEMA award for ‘Best Small Sedan’

It was another great year for Kia Motors at the Middle East Motor Awards (MEMA), with the Kia Rio being named ‘Best Small Sedan’ in its category at a ceremony held at Expo Centre Sharjah recently.

MEMA is the biggest and most coveted award event in the Middle East automotive industry– judged by a panel of distinguished automotive experts whose opinions are the most respected in the region.

President of Kia Motors Juma Al Majid, Mohammed Khader, who was the recipient of the award, commented, “We are extremely delighted at picking up this award for the Kia Rio – another validation to add to the many accolades the model has received ever since its launch.”

The model has been a customer favourite for its exceptional design technology, equipment and performance. The subcompact’s features make it more like a luxury saloon that the econ-friendly car that it is.
