KIA Motors the rapidly expanding Korean automaker brings fresh styling and new engine technology to its lineup; offering all-new and redesigned award winning models that are not only known for their competitive prices but for their reliable quality, performance and durability as well.

Al Majid Motors- the Exclusive UAE Distributor of KIA Motors has launched the all-new version of the KIA compact B-segment Sedan, “Rio”, during the Dubai International Motor Show in the presence of top officials and the executives of KIA Motors. The event was attended by Mr. B. T. Yea - Executive Vice President of KIA Motors HQ in Korea, Mr. M. K. Kim - the President, Middle East & Africa Region, and Mr. Mohammed Khader- the President of Al Majid Motors along with notable executives from both organizations.

KIA Motors posted remarkable 22% sales growth during the first ten months of 2011 y-o-y in the UAE market and sees great interest in the latest models of KIA Sportage - the compact SUV, Optima, Cadenza, Cerato, the new compact Picanto and MPV Soul in the region. The KIA vehicles are designed by Peter Schreyer, the world famous Auto designer. KIA Cerato, Sportage and Optima won various prestigious awards, with the latest being: MEMA 2011 BEST MIDSIZE SEDAN for KIA OPTIMA and BEST COMPACT SUV KIA SPORTAGE.

The KIA Rio subcompact five-door Hatchback version made it’s in the UAE in Sept. 2011 will go on sale with its four-door sedan version this month.
