Khalaf Al Habtoor meets the French Ambassador to the UAE

Khalaf Al Habtoor, the Chairman of the Al Habtoor Group, met with the French Ambassador to the UAE - Alain Azouaou on February 19, 2012 at the Habtoor Head office on Al Wasel Road.

The Dubai businessman is considering investing in a number of luxury hotel properties in France and was interested to hear the views of the ambassador in this regard. He also highlighted a number of investment opportunities in the UAE, suggesting that France consider increasing its business interests in the Gulf region.

The two men also talked about the relationship between France and the UAE and discussed ways in which they could be mutually beneficial in the future.

"France is country that has long interested me" said Al Habtoor after the meeting. "I admire its culture and its people and I believe it offers many opportunities for investment. What's more the UAE has always enjoyed a good relationship this European nation. I believe we have a lot to learn from each other."
