Jaguar Land Rover MENA secures triple win at inaugural ArabWheels Awards

Luxury automotive manufacturer Jaguar Land Rover was the proud recipient of three prestigious automotive awards during the first edition of the ArabWheels Awards of the year 2015. Nominated amongst a competitive set of established brands, two of Jaguar Land Rover’s most prized vehicles were recognized following a vote on the automotive magazine’s website.

On the heels of its recent win at this year’s Middle East Car of the Year (MECOTY) Awards, which took place in October, Jaguar saw its new Jaguar XE win the title of ‘Best Compact Executive Sedan’. Meanwhile, Land Rover took home the title of ‘Best Compact Premium SUV’ for the Discovery Sport, its most versatile and capable premium compact SUV.

Continuing the winning streak, Jaguar Land Rover MENA’s Managing Director Bruce Robertson went on to receive one of the night’s most notable awards when he was named ‘Best CEO/MD of the Year 2015’. Presented to Robertson by the ArabWheels team, the award recognized the instrumental role he plays in spearheading the business’ growth in one of the fastest growing regions of the world.

Commenting on the company’s wins, Robertson said, “ArabWheels is one of the most renowned and respected automotive media titles in MENA and it is a great honour to have received not one but three awards from its team. These accolades are a true testament to the commitment and effort our teams at Jaguar Land Rover invest into both of our brands on a global and regional level.
