Jafza-based firm invents world’s first real-time industrial workforce performance monitoring and motivational system

Jafza-based Micro Automation Industries (MAI) has launched its latest invention, ‘Datamatic’ – a real-time performance monitoring system, during IEOM (Industrial Engineering and Operations Management) Conference in Dubai earlier this month.

Datamatic, which was invented by MAI in at its facilities in Jebel Ali Free Zone, Dubai, is designed to measure manufacturing productivity, and supports smart manufacturing requirements.

Hazim Al-Hajjaj, the CEO of MAI said: “Datamatic has been designed to provide businesses the leading edge in their manufacturing process by tracking production data, changes in workforce efficiency during working hours. It also validates data on raw material, worker certification etc., allowing supervisors to monitor attendance, operational status and worker performance in real-time, thus identifying any problems, and immediately take corrective action.”

Al Hajjaj added that the system also has the capability of giving motivational messages to employees, encouraging them to achieve higher efficiency and quality on the production line.

The Datamatic system is part of MAI’s efforts in support of the UAE Government’s declaration of 2015 as the “Year of Innovation” and its new National Innovation Strategy aimed at claiming UAE’s place among the most innovative nations in the world within the next 7 years.
