Dubai Islamic Bank employees participate in blood donation drive

As part of its ongoing corporate social responsibility activities, Dubai Islamic Bank (DIB) recently organized a blood donation drive for its employees. In cooperation with the Dubai Health Authority’s Dubai Blood Donation Center (DBDC), more than 60 DIB employees volunteered to give blood at a mobile donation unit located for the day outside the bank’s headquarters in Deira, Dubai. The initiative was held once again this year to encourage and engage bank’s staff in activities that have a great impact in saving lives.

The DBDC collects blood to help a wide range of people including Thalassemia patients, road accident and burn victims, and maternity health complications, cancer patients and other health cases.
