Imdaad to address temporary power requirements of 4th FINA World Junior Swimming Championships in Dubai

Imdaad, a leading provider of integrated facilities management solutions in the GCC, has announced that it will be providing power generators to address the temporary power requirements of the 4th FINA World Junior Swimming Championships, to be held from August 26 to 31, 2013, at the Hamdan Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Sports Complex in Dubai. Imdaad, which is a major sponsor of the championships, will extend power generation services to the event through Imdaad Power, a division established to address temporary power requirements of projects and industries in the GCC.
This marks the third time that Imdaad is partnering with Hamdan Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Sports Complex, following the provision of power generation services for the 9th Asian Swimming Championships and the Dubai Swimming World Cup, both held last year at the Complex.
“Dubai is increasingly becoming a preferred destination for some of the biggest exhibitions, conferences and top sporting events, reflecting the world-class infrastructure and facilities available in the emirate, including the Hamdan Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Sports Complex,” said Mahmood Hussein Rasheed, Imdaad’s Chief Operating Officer. “Imdaad is pleased to extend its support once again to the Complex during the 4th FINA World Junior Swimming Championships. Recognising the importance of providing safe, reliable and customized power generation solutions to such prestigious events, our focus will be on ensuring uninterrupted power supply throughout this event which will see the participation of some of the best young swimmers from around the world.”
Imdaad Power provides power generators of various sizes and capacity, from small diesel units to big containerised power units starting with 300Kva to 1250Kva. The power generators are also equipped with sound attenuated enclosures for onboard or dock side needs within the shipping industry. The division also offers water-based chillers and air conditioners to supplement the installed process systems or to provide heating, ventilating and air conditioning (HVAC) services.
The 4th FINA World Junior Swimming Championships is being hosted by the UAE Swimming Federation in collaboration with the Dubai Sports Council. The biennial championship is regarded as one of the world's most prominent competitions for swimmers under the age of 18. Over 800 elite swimmers from 90 countries are expected to compete in the upcoming edition of the championship in Dubai.
