Huawei G8 breaks the local market with high-end features never before introduced to the category

Huawei Egypt Device Business Group announced today the arrival of the newest member to the 2015 star 8 Family, Huawei G8, offering younger consumers a perfect smart-phone with high-end capabilities, solid performance and long-lasting connectivity and battery life. Huawei G8 is set to lead it’s category as it presents exclusive features like enhanced fingerprint technologies and large internal memory of 32GB, which are not found in any other smart-phone of this price range in the market. Starting October 27^th, Huawei G8 will be available in major retail shops across Egypt for a very competitive price of EGP 3199.

“Following the unprecedented success achieved by Huawei P8 in the Egyptian market, it was mandatory to provide a new category of consumers with yet another exceptional device offering sufficient performance for seamless daily use,” said Bruce Fan, President of Huawei Device Northern Africa.Huawei G8 is expected to surpass all its rivals in the same price range as it possess exclusive features that are only available in higher tiers, including advanced second-generation single-touch fingerprint reader, groundbreaking camera capabilities, and other technologies that are commonly only found in high end models. “Huawei always puts consumer needs first, and thus we are always keen on providing each target group with the highest specifications and technologies at the most affordable price to fulfill our commitment to providing accessible premium products,” added Fan.

Among the many special features of Huawei G8 is the metallic, frame-free, single touch fingerprint reader for rapid recognition of 0.5 seconds with optimum scanning accuracy rate. This advanced fingerprint reader is not only for unlocking the device, but more importantly it allows for convenient gesture commands like swiping up and down to reveal the notification panel, removing all notifications with a single gesture, and also for taking photos and answering calls.

Inheriting more of the outstanding camera capabilities of the 8 Family, Huawei G8’s 13MP camera comes with an RGBW sensor and a dedicated Image Signal Processor typically only found in professional digital SLRs. For the first time in a Huawei device, G8 camera features Smart composition function, which processes pictures and centers them as need by identifying faces and conducting aesthetic processing to determine the ideal composition, resulting in perfectly conceived frames similar to ones taken by professional photographers.  In addition, Huawei G8’s camera introduces new features such as beautification 3.0 technology,which supports real-time and post-processing makeup effects. 

It is worth mentioning that in June 2015, on the first day of its launch, Huawei P8 was completely sold out from major retail shops due to unprecedented customer demand. This time, Huawei Egypt expects similar success for G8 in its category, especially among younger consumers who typically seek highest specifications and technologies within their budgets.
