HSBC Oman to host Corporate Golf Day with 2010 Ryder Cup Captain Colin Montgomerie at Muscat Hills

HSBC Oman will organize a memorable golfing experience for key corporate customers on the fairways of Muscat Hills & Country Club on the 13th of December with the leading European golfer, Colin Montgomerie. Known affectionately to many fans around the world as “Monty”, the celebrated golfer is heralded as one of the greatest Ryder Cup players of all time and has won a record of eight Order of Merit titles.
Hosted by BBC Radio 5 Live’s Golf Correspondent, Ian Carter, the eventful day will include a special Golf Clinic with “Monty” featuring one-on-one tuition with each guest to learn new techniques to challenge the dramatic elevations of the golf course. The clinic will be followed by a Shot Gun Start round of golf and conclude with a questions and answers session with the pro himself over lunch. Prizes will be awarded to the winning team, best score card, longest drive and closest to the pin among others.
“We are confident that our corporate customers will enjoy a spectacular round of golf in a spirit of fun and building business relationships, one made even more special with such an iconic figure,” said Ewan Stirling, Chief Executive Officer at HSBC Oman.
The HSBC Oman Corporate Golf Day is one of the many events in the bank’s calendar of engagement activities that aims to build stronger relations with its growing roster of corporate customers outside the work environment. A total of 36 customers across varied industries are expected to partake in this year’s event.
