HBMSU Chancellor lectures on impact of positive energy on institutional success during the scientific meeting of Saudi Quality Council in the Western Region

Dr. Mansoor Al Awar, Chancellor of Hamdan Bin Mohammed Smart University (HBMSU), recently delivered a lecture titled ‘The Positive Energy and its Role in Institutional Leadership’ in which he highlighted the impact of positive energy on institutional performance. During his lecture, he provided a detailed analysis of the basic elements of positive energy and their correlation with the physical condition of human beings, with emphasis on their role and impact. Dr. Al Awar made his presentation during the inauguration of the scientific meeting for 2014-2015 among members of the Saudi Quality Council in the Western Region. Held in the presence of Dr. Ayed Alamri, President of the Council, the Jeddah event was attended by numerous council members.

Focusing on the subject of ‘positive energy in the institutional framework,’ Dr. Al Awar’s lecture took a closer look at how positive energy is transmitted among subordinates and how to ensure that it directly and positively impacts the operations of an institution. He stressed that positive energy is one of the most fundamental pillars in ensuring the success and development of both employees and institutions.

Dr. Al Awar said: "The UAE is considered a pioneer in terms of optimally tapping positive energy to improve one’s life. This is in accordance with the vision of H.H. Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of UAE and Ruler of Dubai, who believes positive energy is one of the primary components of success and excellence. Positive energy is a catalyst for innovation and a motivator to help overcome challenges, discover fresh opportunities, and harness these potentials in an effective manner to ensure human progress and productivity. This can lead to an advanced and modern society." 

Dr. Al Awar  expressed his appreciation to the members of the council, which extends support to individuals and organizations in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia through educational opportunities, knowledge exchange, and quality improvement. He pointed out that the meeting  complemented HBMSU’s commitment to enrich knowledge and foster a culture of creativity, innovation and scientific research in the Arab World through smart learning. He also stressed the need for effective communication channels to enhance the exchange of insights and ideas in a bid to spread positive energy among young people and in the business community and the government sector. Effective communication also encourages development and improvement at the personal, academic or institutional levels. 

Dr. Alamri said: “We value and appreciate Dr. Al Awar’s participation during the opening of the scientific meeting. As discussed during his lecture, positive energy is one of the modern concepts that can bring about success especially in terms of consolidating quality and excellence, raising the level of institutional performance, and enhancing the competitiveness of local products and services in the regional and global markets. The Saudi Quality Council in the Western Region will take the lead in this regard  in line with the objectives of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2020.” 

Dr. Al Awar is at the forefront of spreading the culture of quality and excellence in the Arab World through HBMSU. The university is steadily moving towards its goal of becoming the standard of future smart learning in the region in line with the directives of H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and President of HBMSU.
