HBMeU celebrates 41st National Day

As part of its celebrations to mark the 41^st UAE National Day in line with the ‘Spirit of the Union’ theme, Hamdan Bin Mohammed e-University (HBMeU) is organizing an array of activities and events at its campus where it has also hoisted the national flag. These festivities underline HBMeU’s ongoing commitment to create a culture of excellence and innovation while effectively contributing to the overall growth and cultural development in the UAE. HBMeU continues to achieve the highest standards of scientific and academic excellence while providing a highly competitive model of learning and knowledge-based leadership in the region and worldwide. 

Under the directives of H.H. Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and President of HBMeU, the university’s faculty members, staff and learners participated in launching the Loyalty March initiative being organized by the University’s Student Council. This initiative will be included in the Union Festival at Global Village in Dubai, making HBMeU the first-ever university to conduct such an initiative as part of the Global Village activities. On the occasion of National Day, the Student Council and university staff also used HBMeU’s YouTube channel to convey their greetings to H.H. Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, H.H. Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, H.H. Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and President of HBMeU, and the people and government of the UAE. 

Dr. Mansoor Al Awar, Chancellor, said: “We would like to convey our heartfelt wishes and congratulations to the UAE leaders and people on the 41^st anniversary of our beloved UAE Federation. HBMeU’s involvement in the Union Festival at Global Village is part of the directives of H.H. Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and President of HBMeU, to promote the Village as a primary host of National Day festivities. Throughout the past years, the UAE has served as a model of progress, development and success in line with the vision of the late Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan and his fellow founding fathers. Our National Day celebrations exemplify the true national unity among the seven emirates and reflect the pride and passion for our nation and its rich history and heritage. On this occasion, we reaffirm our ongoing efforts to strengthen the university’s position as a cornerstone of human development and a vital driver of the overall growth that was first initiated by the establishment of the Federation – the most successful and glorious milestone in the modern Arab history.”
