Gulf Bank launches ‘Gulf Live’ new Interactive Teller Machines

Gulf Bank is pleased to be one of the first banks in Kuwait to launch its Interactive Teller Machine (ITM) entitled “Gulf Live” across many of its branches. With cutting-edge technology and live customer service representatives, customers can easily conduct their daily transaction needs.

‘Gulf Live’ is a live video conversation with Gulf Bank’s representatives allowing customers to avoid queues in branches and  has extended hours of services. Through ‘Gulf Live’ customers can withdraw amounts up to KD 5,000 and deposit amounts up to KD 3,000. Customers can also cash and deposit checks, in addition to a variety of transaction which are usually offered by the branch tellers.  Choosing a denomination which ranges from KD 1 to KD 20, conducting all transactions by simply using a civil ID rather than a debit card, are also part of ‘Gulf Live’.

The new ITMs enable Gulf Bank to offer its customers the benefits of both self-service video banking and the branch experience in one simple solution. In fact, it combines video banking and remote transaction processing banking technology embedded within the ITM to give the customer the choice of self-service or connecting with a remote teller in a highly personalized, two-way audio/video interaction.

The new ‘Gulf Live’ machines are available at the Gulf Bank head office on Mubarak Al-Kabeer Street in Kuwait City, as well as the Jabriya branch and Al Adan branch. Gulf Bank will be deploying this new service at different branches throughout the year.

To find out more about the Gulf Bank, customers can visit the bank’s bilingual website at www.e-gulfbank.com, call the Customer Contact Center on 1805805, or visit one of Gulf Bank’s 56 branches in Kuwait.
