The certification is the leading standard for excellence in the field of environmental responsibility and sustainable operation within the tourism industry.

Following an audit by the Emirates Green Building Council, the hospitality leader has received the certification in recognition of its environmentally friendly and sustainable practices to reduce the overall use of resources and the hotel’s ongoing efforts to raise awareness and create behavioral changes in guests, staff and suppliers.

Enad Tannous, General Manager at Grand Millennium Al Wahda Hotel, said, “We are proud to receive the Green Key award. This recognition showcases our dedication and continuous efforts to adopt sustainable and environment friendly methods.”
